Background

In 2022, UISEE and China FAW Group jointly conducted L3 autonomous driving technology R&D and testing, completing a 2,000-kilometer L3-level highway autonomous driving test without any safety-related human interventions.

Challenges

High Technical Costs: Mainstream L3 solutions rely on high-precision maps and high-end hardware, resulting in high production costs and challenges in achieving large-scale deployment.

Solution

UISEE L3 autonomous driving solution.

Safety Standard: Designed in accordance with ISO 26262 automotive functional safety standard, with software design solutions certified to the standard and corresponding functional safety requirements.

Testing & Validation: Joint R&D and testing vehicle with China FAW Group, completing a 2,000-km L3 highway autonomous driving test, validating solution feasibility and stability.

Impact

High Feasibility for Deployment: Low cost and mass-producible; no high-precision maps required; adaptable to diverse structured road scenarios, supporting large-scale deployment.
